Your mission

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you assume the role of technical lead on a project-by-project basis, guiding your junior colleagues in both technical and client-facing dimensions of each endeavor. Internally, you play a pivotal role in advancing the company's technical capabilities and enhancing client offerings.

You will mostly work with Python to tackle diverse Machine Learning tasks, employing frameworks like Tensorflow, HuggingFace, or LangChain to develop applications. Your expertise will contribute to the production deployment of meticulously architected, scalable, and robust solutions, showcasing your combined skills in data analysis, engineering and machine learning.

In brief, you :

• Are a natural consultant who understands the business needs of customers and translates them into end-to-end technical solutions
• Use Python to deploy production ready pipelines and ML models on the Cloud
• Engage in cutting-edge ML research and spearhead the internal assessment and integration of state-of-the-art tools and frameworks.
• Are responsible for the high-quality delivery of your team’s projects
• Provide technical guidance to junior ML Engineers
• Conduct technical workshops for clients and respond to calls for proposals
• Leverage your expertise to assist sales in qualifying and securing exciting projects

Technology environment

Your profile

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French or Dutch
• Degree in computer science or related field
• Proficient in Python & software development best practices
• 3+ years of work experience with Machine Learning
• A coaching & knowledge sharing mindset
• Ability to provide expert advice to non-technical staff and clients
• Experience with deploying ML models to a large user base
• Experience in one of our focus domains for the moment: GenAI, NLP, Vision, RL

Considered as a plus :

• Familiarity with MLOps methodologies
• Worked on one of the major Cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Assumed a leading technical role in a team structure
