Your mission

As a member of the Valkuren’s team, you are directly linked to the Managing Partner to participate on the development of the different solutions we develop internally or for our customers.

Assist in designing multi-phased cloud data strategies, including roadmap implementation (for the development of internal solution & for our customers)
Design and develop scalable data ingestion solutions to transform variety of datasets (machine learning, data visualization, real-time analytics)
Gather technical requirements, assess client capabilities, and analyze findings to provide appropriate cloud solution recommendations
Research, analyze, recommend, and select technical approaches for solving exciting and complex development and integration problems
Participate to the proposals for customers & the VALKUREN development strategy
As an added value you are able to take some actions for cloud infrastructure or you want to learn more about it

Your profile

Experience building cloud data solutions (Azure, AWS, GCP, Snowflake)
Experience designing and deploying end to end solutions with a cloud platform’s analytic services
Experience with APIs, their lifecycle management, and the corresponding technologies
Experience with big data application development and with cloud data warehousing (Hadoop, Spark, Redshift, Snowflake, Azure SQL DW, BigQuery)
Proficient in a relevant programming language for cloud platform: Python (or Java/C#/Unix) & SQL
Working experience with version control platforms (as Git)
Communication skills and a working knowledge of agile development, including DevOps concepts
Fluent in English, French &/or Dutch is a plus
Able to work independently, but keeping team spirit
