Food safety in Belgium
The company and its strengths
The FASFC, the Federal Agency for the Safety of the Food Chain, ensures the safety of the food chain and food quality. It therefore protects the health of humans, but also that of animals and plants.
It has an operational regulatory role (controls, certifications, standards to be respected, etc.) but also a communication role (consumer information).
The agency supports small structures in their development and diversification efforts, by supporting them with training, awareness-raising, participation in fairs, etc. By developing these win-win relationships with its partners, the agency aims to ensure the safest possible consumption in Belgium.
The FASFC offers a stimulating work environment in the scientific field. Employees are continuously trained throughout their careers. The fasfc offers a flexible career system, whether by transfer or promotion.
A corporate culture where employees participate in discussions and decisions in a good atmosphere. A work organisation that respects the balance between private and professional life.
Employees gather at the cafeteria for a fruit, to chat in one of their open spaces or over a coffee. Every year, the FASFC day or Saint Nicolas are also good times for exchanges.
Diversity actions are also implemented, so that everyone feels fulfilled and welcome in the association.
